Nobody knew Williamsburg was lacking in the denim department until Courtshop planted its second location on Bedford Avenue early last year. The jeans joint is double the size of the brand’s Mott Street location, which means you’ll find a wider selection of ’70s-inspired high-waist denim, like Lydia skinny jeans featuring a split-back waistband decked with leather lacing ($165), skinnies with killer python back pockets ($165) and ripped boyfriend-fit denim jackets ($110). Store founder Lisa Fuller’s in-house line makes up the bulk of the merchandise here, but you’ll also spot a few vintage items like a pair of black riding boots from the ’70s ($85), making this shop a stealthily cool complement to its hip neighbors’ Amarcord and Brooklyn Fox.
