After selling her handbags at major retailers such as Anthropologie and Nordstrom, Corie Humble opened her first stand-alone shop to showcase her line of high-quality everyday totes, satchels and purses (produced entirely in Brooklyn!). The word corrente means “current” in Portuguese, and it accurately describes Humble’s conscientious, on-trend pieces. Geometric, two-tone women’s briefcases ($550), detachable-strap messenger clutches ($155) and soft leather shoulder bags ($495) are all made with materials sourced from local businesses.
