Mei Wah Kong’s clean, cheerful boutique boasts a carefully selected mix of affordable, girly pieces culled from Hong Kong brands like Angel’s Yearningly, Mali and MoonDenJe. Colorful sundresses with delicate lace collars ($49) and gossamer silk blouses ($59) can be paired with chunky woven belts ($5). Our most hilarious find was a hot pink tee that read choosey lover, the queen of pleasure, come to my fantastic world ($29), which reminded us of the crazy English-language tees you can score when shopping in many Asian cities. Sizes here skew small and you may have to share sifting space with local teens, but you’ll be rewarded with affordable, unique pieces not available elsewhere.
