Sustainable-food advocacy group Slow Food NYC showcases three local chocolate makers—Pacari Chocolate, Fine & Raw and Cacao Prieto—at this booze-fueled tasting. Hear from the artisans themselves before sampling their organic products alongside wines and spirits, including Cacao Prieto's house-distilled liquor made from Dominican cacao fruit, cacao beans and sugarcane. Proceeds benefit Slow Food's Urban Harvest program, which educates New York City children about good food practices.
