This new holiday market, launched by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, features 45 vendors from across Kings County, with a special focus on those that are owned by BIPOC and/or women.
From art and holiday ornaments and from organic skin-care products to bags and pillows made in Brooklyn with materials from Ghana, there’s something for everyone. The Brooklyn Cyclones will even be there, offering baseball-themed merchandise as well as Teazert Tea, which brings a creative spin on matching tea with scrumptious desserts, tarot games from Four Rabbit, apparel from IndigoStyle Vintage and jewelry from Beroep Tech and Blush Velvet boutiques.
It will be open at Industry City Thursdays through Sundays through December 31.
“The Chamber is working with mom-and-pop shops across the borough to jumpstart tourism for the holiday season,” said Randy Peers, President and CEO of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. “What makes ‘Brooklyn Made’ unique is that it celebrates Brooklyn’s most creative entrepreneurs, under one roof. We hope the shop, which is a pilot, will take root year-round. There’s no pop-up quite like a Brooklyn pop-up: the borough is bursting at the seams with innovative creators.”
