The event planner whose client roster runs the gamut from Daphne Guinness to Barack Obama is hosting a temporary shop to help you decorate for the holidays. Inspired by Van Wyck’s own Christmas festivities at his family’s Arkansas farm, the space includes tartan-lined walls, vintage leather sofas and deer-antler chandeliers. You’ll find a mix of vintage pieces ($15–$6,500) and decorations created by Van Wyck himself ($50–$1,250). Deck the halls with mistletoe ($50), pine-and-cedar garlands ($250–$1,250) and magnolia wreaths featuring dried kumquats or gilded details ($200–$9,500). If you’ve got the dough, spring for a predecorated Douglas fir or blue spruce ($1,250–$3,000), complete with lights and a steel stand.
