This eclectic Bushwick boutique returns to Governors Island for its second summer, setting up a temporary shop inside a historic military apartment building. Founder Karin Persan has invited a team of 39 local designers including Rocks and Salt and Lingua Nigra to fill the cozy early-20th-century home with one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry ($15–$150), artwork ($10–$50), stationery ($4–$15) and various knickknacks ($5–$200). Many works have incorporated the flavor of the island, such as J. Topolski lockets ($22–$45) set with antique maps of New York and Geneva Wirth photography prints ($25) of the coastal greenery. Browse dressers and cupboards to discover Webbedware animal-cutout brass necklaces ($128), Jes Switaj silk ties ($30) emblazoned with sea creatures and house-label colorful hand-printed jersey dresses ($50–$150).
