Fourteen years after its inception, this West Hollywood luxury sleepwear brand made its way to the East Coast. All of the fabrics are made domestically (a rarity these days) in Los Angeles, where founder Renee Claire designs each print in-house to create a new collection every season. Inside the store’s display window, two BedHead-clad mannequins made of pillows snooze away, and are surrounded by whimsical paper-star garlands and cotton clouds. The long and narrow shop is painted a calming lavender, and a rack of sleepwear holds bedtime wares for the entire family. Women can get a good night’s sleep in Liberty of London–print pajamas with ribbon trim ($262) and 100-percent cotton sateen styles with contrast piping ($138), while men can cozy up to plaid double-brushed flannel PJ sets ($128). On the opposite wall, shelves display a variety of kid’s toys, such as reclaimed-wool puppets ($32) from Canadian company Cate & Levi and adorable Jelly Cat corduroy elephants ($28).
