This 55-year-old rock-and-mineral emporium is filled with natural history items such as meteorites, dinosaurs, fossills and more. And there isn’t anything made from gems that owner Dennis Tanjeloff, who has a collection of stones from all over the world, doesn’t stock. Thankfully, the goods are not all for serious rock collectors, so even if you loathed earth science in middle school, you can still find goodies to go home with. Create your own designer-looking necklaces out of multicolored stone pendants ($10–$25) or add some color to your ensemble with a wide selection of bright stone earrings ($15). Vibrant gemstone candleholders ($48–$59) will bring a little nature to your pad.
