Following the success of a limited-edition collection he launched in 2005, luxury-shoe designer George Mang debuts a line of funky ladies’ footwear ($295–$400) and his first-ever store. Mang reinterprets classic styles, such as booties, pumps and flats, into unique colorblock creations featuring intricately placed mesh, patent leather, zippers, cuffs and Velcro closures. The 800-square-foot space features brick and sheepskin walls, lots of mirrors and a sculptural arrangement of white neon lights hanging overhead. Add some pep to your step with mixed-material peep-toe pumps ($320), pony-hair heels ($330) and Velcro-closure oxfords ($295).
