Arthur & Co. (CLOSED)

Arthur & Co. is the brainchild of designer Neal Decker and master leather craftsman Arthur Jinjinian, who has been making bags in New York since 1983. The two teamed up to open a one-stop-shop for accessories, including handbags, jewelry and sandals. Their specialty—handbags—are made by hand in the back of the store in their studio, which allows them to customize any design for only $45. Strap modification (make a strap longer or add a detachable shoulder strap) is free. Among the selection of bags are pleated nylon totes ($142), leather envelope clutches ($98), and two-handle leather slouch bags ($248).
