Mimic those darn Parisian gals who always look très chic by shopping at this French designer’s third NYC boutique (the others are on the Upper East Side and in Union Square). The store is located in a restored historic landmark building with large windows and exposed brick walls, which are dotted with for-sale contemporary-art portraits and illustrations made by designer Agnès Andrée Marguerite Troublé’s close friends (like Brooklynite Jose Parla and Ryan McGinley). The collection of sophisticated pieces for men, women and children is also worth ogling: Look for guys’ stretch-cotton suit jackets with contrasting collars ($785) and matching pants ($395), or ladies’ leather miniskirts ($785) and stretchy little black dresses with lace-up backs ($665). Those on a budget will be happy to hear that there’s a stylish, exclusive line of graphic T-shirts ($85) and long-sleeved tees ($95) made by the same group of artists mentioned above.
