THE DATE
First impression
Parker: “We met inside the VIP Mirror tent before the circus. I didn’t know if I’d be able to find him, but luckily he was the only other single guy there. I thought he was really cute.”
Nick: “He was talkative and had a nice smile. We had a great conversation and had similar taste in music and TV. We both watch Drag Race, so that was a talking point.”
Chemistry
Parker: “I think there could perhaps be romantic chemistry. We were laughing a lot, and I’m always attracted to someone who’s goofy and can have a fun time.”
Nick: “I’m not sure if there was a romantic spark, but I could see a friendship. We talked about the circus a lot. My grandpa was actually a ringleader, so that was funny.”
Awkward Moment
Parker: “Before the show, a psychic was going around, and, at one point, she grabbed my hand and was like, ‘I see true love in your future!’ Then a mime started making big hearts.”
Nick: “I was brought up onstage by a group of clowns during the show, which was an intereseting date experience. They had me pretend to be on a roller coaster. I nailed it.”
Afterward
Parker: “When the show was over, we walked around Lincoln Center and chatted for a couple minutes. We exchanged numbers and hugged a few times. I got two good hugs in.”
Nick: “We took photos with some of the circus props and then went outside and exchanged numbers. I would definitely grab another drink with him but just as friends.”
Verdict
Parker: ♥♥♥♥ “He seemed pretty put together and chill, and he’s a good-looking guy. There was a good balance of being silly and being able to talk and get to know each other.”
Nick: ♥♥♥ “He was a really good guy, just not the guy for me. There was nothing wrong with him—I just don’t think we were a match. But I’d go get a drink with him again!”
