Just when we thought the Philly cheese-steak rush was over, yet another joint has arrived with its own take on the combo. Purists beware: At Ziggiz, the cheese steaks are automatically made with provolone, so you have to specify Whiz if you want a real Philly version. Otherwise the sandwich sticks to the rules, with top-notch Angus, and buns shipped in from Atlantic City. Brothers George and Steve Zamfotis, who also run a casual lunch spot, Charlie’s, have hedged their bets by stocking the menu with other favorites, too, like burgers and burritos. And no other Philly cheese-steak joint can beat the hours: 24/7.
