Ninth Avenue has always been a great stretch for international eating: You can usually pick your cuisine and find it somewhere between 34th and 57th Streets. Troy is tackling Turkish classics like tabouli, hummus, kebabs and falafel. None of the dishes are phenomenal enough to warrant a special trip, but if you’re in the neighborhood or looking to escape the food courts at Port Authority, you’ll find cheap, reliable, filling food here. Those who pull late nights at the Bellevue can get $5 kebab sandwiches until 3am on weekends.
