Situated in Midtown’s theater district, this branch of The Ribbon boasts just as much glitz and glamor as the area in which it resides. Sparkling chandeliers hover above banks of tables and beside black and white photos of old New York. This charming style is accentuated by the contrasting industrial touches in the exposed air ducts and brick.
As well as having an ideal location for show fans, The Ribbon is open from 11.30am to midnight, making it a good spot for a pre-theater meal and post-show drinks. They have a large rotisserie in the kitchen spit-roasting chicken, ribs and lamb. There’s also plenty of seafood, with oysters, clams, shrimp cocktail and caviar on offer. Plus the classics you'd expect, such as steak and burgers.
Settle in with a craft cocktail or local brew. They’ve got everything from Brooklyn’s Sixpoint to Montauk IPA and Astoria’s SingleCut. Those with a hankering for the strong stuff can also explore the wealth of whiskeys available at The Ribbon's Marquee Bar.
