As the name suggests, this West Village seafood restaurant specializes in one-pound pots of bivalves. Choose from more than 20 different international sauce-and-mollusk combinations, from the Italian Ciaopinio (tomato-based broth, clams, shrimp, scallops, basil and Parmesan croutons) to the Greek Athens (fish velouté, kalamata olives, red onion, feta cheese and fresh oregano). Additional plates include lobster mac and cheese, spicy buttermilk fried chicken and raw-bar items. The stylish 100-seat eatery is outfitted with a granite bar, crystal chandeliers and beige banquettes, but during the warm-weather months, diners can opt for garden seating, where a rock waterfall and koi fish pond make up the scenery.
