Restaurateurs Gianfranco and Paula Sorrentino (Il Gattopardo) have transformed the former Cafe des Artistes space into a luxe trattoria. The romantic 95-seat space, outfitted with walnut-wood columns, showcases the former tenant's historic oil murals, now restored to their original colors. Chef Vito Gnazzo executes a Southern Italian menu that includes dishes such as eggplant and smoked buffalo mozzarella timbale, lamb loin with a red-wine–tarragon sauce, and bucatini with sardines, wild fennel and raisins. There's also The Parlor, a private dining room.
