With only a few weeks of service under its belt, the no-frills New Orleans–themed Parish Grill is still finding its groove. But early standouts like Rockafella Pies (flaky, golden dough stuffed with Pernod-infused spinach, bacon and chopped oysters; $5) and a rotating selection of thick, hearty soups (cup $2–$3.75, bowl $3–$5.50), chockablock with regional ingredients such as andouille sausage, okra, tomatoes and white beans, bode well for the restaurant’s future.
