It’s hard to miss the cuisine theme at a candlelit pub that serves fish and chips in an Irish beer batter, fettucine with Irish smoked salmon, soup with a side of Irish brown bread and Baileys Irish Cream cheesecake. The rest of the menu balances standard pub grub—like beef-and-Guinness casserole, steak sandwiches and shepherds pie—with gastropub twists, such as chili aioli, hummus, couscous and handmade garden burgers. Service hiccups are quickly forgotten when a waitress with a warm smile arrives with dessert, served with your choice of whipped cream, ice cream or custard.
