With Asian draft beers in frosty mugs, newsprint wallpaper and entrées sizzling on electric burners on nearly every table, Song 7.2, a raucous Korean roadhouse, is a veritable pleasure zone (the nightly $20 five-beer or four-sake special doesn’t hurt either). From the long list of Korean “tapas,” try the red-chili chicken wings. Hearty entrées, meanwhile, feature must-haves like jo ge jjim, a Korean clambake with steamed mussels, clams and head-on shrimp with seasoned soy and hot sauces and drawn butter for dipping. In place of dessert (there is none), you’ll get a free palate-cleansing shot of cucumber juice with the bill—an ideal antidote to all that sake.
