Escape Curry Row’s restaurant hawkers at this intimate, orange-hued space where a familial staff serves up excellent Sri Lankan cuisine. You can order curries, of course, but a bolder choice is the lamprais, made of spiced rice, chicken, fish, plantains and a hard-boiled egg, all baked and served in a banana leaf. Other specialties include rice pancakes (kothus) and spring rolls made with potato and fish. Of the desserts, we like the traditional yogurts and coconut sweetmeats.
