It may just look like another Asian-tinged Lower East Side spot, with red hanging lamps, bamboo embellishments and chinois-upholstery, and you may think you’ve had all of these pan-Asian menu items before. Stay for dinner and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The signature starter of tuna tartar in fried wonton cones is a light-hearted, one-bite snack. Fried calamari, with a spicy mayo dipping sauce, are greaseless and crisp, and diagonally sliced towers of nori-crusted ahi tuna, with fleshy sweet potatoes and crunchy baby bok choy, impress even the most jaded palates.
