The cloud-dotted ceiling augured a heavenly dining experience; it never materialized. Although the nan was fluffy and pliant, the fried appetizers were soggy, the shrimp amotik was overcooked and overspiced, and the meat in the lamb saag was tough. Dessert is a pleasant surprise; smooth fig and chocolate-cinnamon ice creams are delicious. At peak time, a meal could take hours to arrive, leaving you with plenty of time to wonder what could be causing the delay in the kitchen.
