You may be inclined to dismiss this spot as yet another clubby Asian eatery supplementing a humdrum menu with glitzy surroundings (consider the fluorescent fish tank and blue-lit bar). But the restaurant backs up its shiny environs with superior fusion fare. Generous portions, potent flavors and artful presentations permeate the innovative sushi, dumplings and Pan-Asian options. Entrées shine: A miso glaze lends sweetness to flaky black cod, and lean slivers of filet mignon—cooked tableside on an ishiyaki hot-stone grille—are painted with sweet house-made barbecue sauce. The dessert menu is enticing, but you’ll be more gratified leaving with an exotic bubble tea in hand.
