If you are obsessed with oysters but have no idea how to crack them open, then the Oyster History & Shucking Class at Pier 57 is the workshop of your dreams. Not only will you learn about the history of oysters shucking, but you'll also learn a lot of fun facts about these versatile and fascinating ocean creatures. The workshop on March 15 will be led by Ben "Moody" Harney, who is the owner of the iconic Mother Shuckers restaurant at Market 57.
