We love Thai takeout as much as the next New Yorker, but Nora Thai is expanding our notion beyond overly sweet pad Thai and coconut-milk-laced curries. Owner Khun Oh, who brought chains like Spice and Sea to the city, is introducing diners to the comforts of southern and royal Thai food: black-pepper curry and steamed purple dumplings are a few of the dishes but also look for modern takes on favorites such as the zucchini pad Thai.
