This Bowery restaurant and takeout specializes in Cantonese cooking, but dishes wander into other Chinese regions, too. Aesthetically, it’s relatively no-frills which suggests they might focus on the food. One look at the menu suggests as much – it’s huge.
So what’s on it? Most well-known Chinese takeout dishes are present and correct, ranging from spring roll, barbecue spare ribs, dumplings and a chunky selection of Cantonese noodles to sweet and sour pork, beef with oyster sauce and Peking-style pork. Congee–rice porridge–is also available.
