This West Village spot was previously known as KUT Kebab, but recently rebranded to Marie Blachere – a boulangerie founded in Provençe, in the South of France, back in 2004. They’ve now more than 500 branches in France and this – along with another branch in Long Island – is their first foray into the US.
Needless to say, the focus of the food is on French flavors. That means high-quality breads of all grains, colours, shapes and sizes, plus tarts, tartines, croques, cakes, cookies and some gorgeous-looking baguettes filled with authentic French combos. Drinks include a solid range of top notch coffee.
