Take a wander through the Lincoln Centre and you’ll stumble upon the building’s eatery opposite the reflecting pool and Henry Moore sculpture, named (perhaps unsurprisingly), Lincoln Ristorante. A fine dining venue that has Italian style and cuisine in spades, it’s a spot that merges traditional techniques and Italian flavors with contemporary culinary flare.
At the heart of the restaurant – and very much the center of attention – is the theatrical open kitchen, where you can view dishes being prepared. Headed up by executive chef Shea Gallante (formerly of Felidia, Bouley, and Cru), the kitchen preps pasta, grissini and focaccia in-house, as well as presenting diners with a range of dishes from polpetti di vitello (veal meatballs) to tortino di cioccolato (chocolate genovese).
