If you get a hankering for borscht or pad thai, you need never go far in Greenpoint; sophisticated American food however, is more elusive. Partners Michael DePrima and Tara Steilen fill that gap with this candlelit bistro, outfitted with French doors and wooden tables. The comfy aesthetic is manifested in dishes like baked Brie with walnuts and pomegranate vinaigrette, and a braised pork chop with sweet-potato fries. In a nod to the Polish community, there’s a kielbasa-and-pepper omelette at brunch.
