Two doors face you. Turn left for a sit-down restaurant with walls covered by bright Mexican paintings. The menu tempts you with sizzling fajitas and mole chicken, served with cilantro-packed guacamole, mild pico de gallo and rice and beans. Turn right and you’re in line for take-out from a smaller, cheaper menu that focuses on tacos and burritos, but also includes smoky rotisserie chicken. (At lunch, all service is from the counter, with self-seating in the restaurant area.) No matter which door you choose, you’ll be pleased to find that La Taqueria now takes credit cards.
