The crisp white tablecloths and velvet banquettes at this French bistro might seem formal, but Jubilee lacks even a trace of pretense. Husband and wife owners Pascal and Virginie Petiteau have been running this Gallic oasis since 1994—he helms the kitchen, she the dining room. The cuisine is traditional, from starters such as a custardlike chicken liver pâté with truffles to entrées, which include a warming cassoulet with moist duck confit, bacon and garlic sausage. A silky crème brûlée spiked with Cointreau makes for a fittingly classic finale.
