It’s time that eels got their day in the sun. This Japanese speakeasy dining room is dedicated solely to unagi (freshwater eel) that’s grilled, coated in a secret sauce, and served with rice, salad, soup and chilled tofu. The name comes from chef Okuno Hachibei, the restaurant’s consultant who is known in Japan for his eel expertise.
