Upper East Siders duck into this Japanese eatery for tofu—made fresh in-house daily and served cold with marinated seaweed—and fried oysters with katsu sauce. The menu also boasts standard sushi rolls and non-Asian mains, such as grilled lamb chops in red-wine reduction. Drinks are limited to Sapporo beer, sake and the popular Japanese soda Ramune. Japanese jazz keeps the mood light, along with bamboo plants and nature photographs that change with the seasons.
