Theater District dinner options are looking far less shabby these days, with stylish eateries like Bistro du Vent and Bond 45. Adding to it, the owners of Vice Versa have built a modish dining room framed by Italian stone-tiled walls and decorated with zebra-patterned wood tables and pastel Philippe Starck chairs. Chef Stefano Terzi is generous with his Mediterranean dishes—a side of goat cheese–stuffed mushrooms was so ample it could easily have been an appetizer—but quantity doesn’t add up to quality in every case. The swordfish was dry and the steak slightly tough.
