This Upper East Side spot draws on the culinary traditions of Turkey, Greece, Italy, France and Spain for its Mediterranean-inspired menu. To start, there are plenty of meze plates like burrata with Turkish figs and basil ($14), grilled halloumi cheese with red and green peppers ($10) and Spanish octopus simply dressed with olive oil and lemon juice ($16). Larger entrees include the truffled mushroom risotto ($24), bouillabaisse ($34) and braised short ribs served with spaghetti squash ($24). Come for brunch to try the omelette with sujuk, a grilled Turkish sausage ($13), avocado toast topped with feta, cherry tomatoes and tahini ($13) or the orange blossom french toast with vanilla-scented butter ($14). Better order a pomegranate mimosa, peach bellini, kir royal, bloody mary or glass of sparkling wine to wash it all down ($9 each, $18 for 90 minutes of unlimited cocktails).
