Cheesecake titan Alan Rosen salutes his grandfather’s 1920s dinette with this midtown grill, featuring a thoroughly modern chef. Nathan Huntington—a protégé of Laurent Gras at Chicago’s heralded L2O—helms the kitchen, plating American classics: 28-day dry-aged steaks, rotisserie chicken and pork loin, and soft-serve cheesecake-and-graham-cracker ice cream. A bit of the Windy City follows Huntington to Gotham—in addition to gating from the Williamsburg Bridge, the 170-seat dining room will be lined with bricks from a Chicago factory.
