Wear your shades to this 40-seat cantina: The bright space is decorated with tangerine barstools and blue and green chairs. The casual Mexican menu—created by consulting chef Ross Gill (Dos Caminos)—ranges from the traditional (carne asada tacos) to the interpretive (tamarind BBQ-glazed wings with Maytag blue-cheese dip). Cocktails also straddle the border, with creative concoctions like the Rojo Vivo (tequila blanco, lime, blood-orange puree) and the Mexican Amores (coconut rum, pineapple and orange juices, coconut puree, cream), in addition to margaritas, sangrias and pours of sipping tequilas.
