Deep red lighting, black painted walls and rich woods combine to create East Hae’s majestic Asian-style interior. The tables are sleek charcoal, the bowls and plates are contemporary, and the menu showcases traditional Korean food, with flair.
Fish and chicken are the real stars of the menu at East Hae. Snacks include char-grilled oysters, squid ink panko-breaded oyster and chicken wings. Mains range from tuna poke and short rib kalbi to sharing plates, like the bulgogi ssaam and fish ssaam. Thirsty? A drinks menu covers a range of quirky, fiery cocktails, as well as sake, soju, wine, beers and mocktails. For happy hour, visit between Monday – Friday, 5pm – 8pm, and you’ll enjoy half-price food and drink at the bar.
