Time Out says

In Sarajevo, burek is as ubiquitous as pizza is in New York, but few Manhattan restaurants serve the delicious Balkan specialty. Fortunately, you can savor Djerdan’s perfect version—delicate layers of buttery pastry surrounding either a beef, spinach and cheese, or cheese filling—in its blissfully quiet wood-paneled interior decorated with Bosnian landscapes. The strudel-like spinach and cheese version becomes sublimely pliant when ladled with the creamy house yogurt. Djerdan’s entrées are equally superb, especially the çevapi, sausages that taste like mini veal meatloaves and are served with soft pita bread, feta cheese and a resplendently tangy red pepper sauce.
