This New England–style fish shack, named for chef-owner Marc Murphy’s favorite surfing spot, is sophisticated and sleek—no seaside knickknacks here. They don’t take reservations, but the kitchen keeps dinerlike hours, and the menu is packed with classics like mac and cheese, hot dogs and hamburgers. The restaurant doesn’t outdo Pearl’s or Mary’s on the shellfish front, but it holds its own with the $26 lobster roll, a mound of luscious chopped meat mixed with scallions, tarragon and aioli and served on a soft roll with a side of sweet-potato chips.
