Just two weeks after Westville East served its last Niman Ranch hot dog, the 14th Street space has been rechristened Curly’s Lunch, a vegetarian diner. Run by Jean LaPointe and her husband David—the founder of Burritoville and Veg City Diner—Curly’s will offer breakfast anytime. This makes up for the fact that the greasy-spoon grub served at David’s grandfather’s diner in the 1930s has been replaced by faux meatloaf, vegetarian sandwiches and vegan desserts.
