The multimillion-dollar renovation of the New Yorker Hotel includes this new American eatery from the owners of the nearby Tick Tock Diner. Chef Julian Clauss-Ehlers (Monkey Bar) turns out upscale comfort-food such as braised short ribs with mashed parsnips and a burger made with Pat LaFrieda beef—the same meat used at Danny Meyer’s Shake Shack.
