This venue is expected to open fall 2013. Franklin Becker has a busy fall ahead of him. Along with his midtown quick-service spot Little Beet, the Abe & Arthur’s alum (who can currently be seen on Top Chef: Masters) also has a market-inspired Flatiron grill lined up. The 120-seat restaurant will showcase seasonal American fare with Mediterranean accents, highlighting local produce and sustainable seafood: fennel-flecked squid à la plancha with orange, mint and chilis; and clams and mussels in a vinho-verde–garlic-tomato sauce. Mid-November.
