As Carla Hall readies her impending hot-bird-focused Southern kitchen, the TV toque (Top Chef, The Chew) offers up an advance preview of the menu’s sweets section with this bakery counter inside Gansevoort Market, peddling breads and baked goods previously sold only on Hall’s website. Fresh-from-the-oven creations include triple-layer cookie bars (graham cracker, coconut) and salted-caramel banana loaves, as well as her trademark petite cookies available by the pound in both sweet (Mexican chocolate chip, chocolate hazelnut praline) and savory (cheddar pecan) varieties. The Nashville native also offers drinks from Tennessee’s Pure Sodaworks, and syrups and chocolates from Nashville Jams Company.
