The captain, the king and lots of others in Queens can fill up on the house-specialty casseroles and noodles. The family meal is a dinner deal: For $16.95, you get three hefty entrées and a big, sharable bowl of soup. Taiwanese chunk chicken is slowly simmered in a soy-sauce marinade until it’s rendered so juicy and savory, you don’t mind having to pull splintered bones from each piece. “Exotic” dishes are translated for the adventurous: Duck blood with scallions is listed, in plain English, next to shredded beef with string beans. The breakfast menu satisfies royally too, and includes such staples as deep-fried crullers for dunking in sweet or salty warm soy milk.
