Two former Blue Bottle Coffee employees have swapped coasts to open this café, using beans from that company's Brooklyn roastery. Iced coffees will be served New Orleans– (cold-brewed with chicory) and Kyoto–style, the latter dispensed from two three-foot-tall slow-drip units. Joe geeks, take note: Shots spew forth from the United States’ first mechanical-paddle GB5 La Marzocco machine, which puts more control into the hands of the barista.
