Chopped season-seven contestant James Lee (Zanny's Cafe, 181 Cabrini) is behind the stoves at this uptown gastropub, which brings craft suds to Washington Heights. Lee calls the menu "global drunk food"—look for Korean fried chicken, panzerotti (a deep-fried calzone with a thinner, crunchier shell) and cow-heart skewers with chimichurri sauce. Twenty-four taps dispense artisan (Delirium Tremens, Founders) and limited-edition beers (Brooklyn Brewmaster, Jonas Bronck's Pale Ale) at the galvanized-steel-topped bar, plus boozehounds can choose from a selection of 30 bourbons, including Redemption and Black Maple Hills.
