BEATSTRO (as in Beats and Bistro) is an homage to hip-hop’s golden era. Its nostalgic decor and Michelin-mentioned Afro-Latino menu stay true to the hip-hop culture. The rum-soaked French toast is a must try at their Beats & Brunch Party, and the Wu-Tang Clan-inspired Method-Manhattan cocktail is sure to take you to the 36 Chambers of Shaolin in no time (IYKYK) (or come learn!). Every Sunday, the brunch brings together the five elements of hip-hop: dancing, rapping, beatboxing, scratching and artwork produced by legends of New York graffiti. Or pay tribute to The Wu Tang Clan every last Wednesday of the month with a night full of kung fu movies, Wu Tang classics and Wu inspired specials.
